Don the gear and take to the floor!
How do you beat the winter blues? Easy. Risk life and limb while engaging in full-out ice combat with your local church rivals. That's right, every January, Good Shepherd's youth come together after Sunday morning worship service to practice in preparation for a broomball tournament with other congregations in the area.
Typically held in early February, the broomball tournament is a great chance to rally together with your friends toward a common goal, try something new, and quite often, bring home a little hardware for your church. (Not that we're overly competitive or anything, we just happen to win a lot).
Again, check the Youth Homepage for details as the season approaches.
