Baptism is one of the two sacraments of the Lutheran church. It is God's activity in making us part of the people of God. Because it is God's activity and not ours, we joyfully baptize both infants and adults, children of members and non-members alike. While it is God's activity, it is also the church's responsibility to welcome and support the newly baptized. Because of this, baptism happens most often surrounded by God's people during worship as they promise to support the newly baptized in their new life of faith.

We provide pre-baptism classes on a quarterly basis. Please contact the church office for the date of the next scheduled class.
