About Us
Good Shepherd is a place where all people are welcomed by the unconditional love of Christ. We are welcomed, forgiven and fed through authentic worship, meaningful outreach, positive learning, and faithful fellowship. You don't need to have your life in perfect order. You won't be required to leave your doubts, questions or struggles outside the church doors. God meets and welcomes you as you are. Currently we are searching for a new lead pastor to join our staff and serve with our members. In this transition phase, Pastor Nancy Johnson Russell serves as our Transitional Lead Clergy. Pastor Jay Kamrath serves as our Pastoral Care staff person. A listing of our staff and their contact information is on the right.

Congregation formally organized with 44 families as charter members.
October 10, 1965 Dedication of new church
1977 Dedication of new addition
2 new Sunday School rooms and enlarged sanctuary
1986 The fellowship hall and Sunday School rooms were enlarged.
Pastor Fred Damgaard retired May 31, 1987
Pastor Gilbert Meyer became interim pastor of Good Shepherd June through August 1987
August 1987 Pastor John Meachen was installed as pastor of Good Shepherd
1989-1990-1991 Good Shepherd had intern pastors

1993 Pastor Brian Staude was installed as Assistant Pastor of Good Shepherd
September 1997 Groundbreaking began for the new narthex and fellowship hall.
May 1998 Dedication of new narthex and fellowship hall.
October 1, 2000 Pastor Brian Staude leaves Good Shepherd for a new call
August 2001 Pastor Sarah Nehring installed as Associate Pastor of Good Shepherd
July 31, 2006 Pastor Sarah Nehring leaves Good Shepherd
November 4, 2007 Pastor Nancy Johnson Russell installed as Associate Pastor of Good Shepherd
December 27, 2011 Andrew Moscinski joins Good Shepherd as Director of Education and Family Ministries
December 31, 2011 Pastor John Meachen leaves Good Shepherd to take a new call.
